The auction room was filled to capacity and bids came in from around the world, including China, France, Italy, Germany, Martinique, The Middle East and the United States. Other top-selling lots included a Patek Philippe ref. 3970 in platinum that brought $168,000 and a Rolex ref. 6234 that achieved $182,400. A Double-Red Sea Dweller owned by famed diver Robert Gauret sold for $144,000, five times the presale estimate.
